MLB Daily Forecast 8/1/2017

All 30 MLB teams are in action today.  The race to the playoffs is heating up.  Here is the latest forecast for all games that will be played outdoors this evening.

Detroit @ New York (AL) 705 PM

There will be a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm at Yankee Stadium this evening.  Temperatures will start in the mid to upper 80’s before falling to the upper 70’s by the end of the game.  The humidity will be tolerable with dew points in the low 60’s.  The South wind will from the RF Pole across the field to the LF pole.

Kansas City @ Baltimore 705 PM

The weather will similar to New York.  Temps will start in the mid 80’s before dropping into the upper 70’s.  Very humid, with dew points around 70.  There is a slight chance of a early inning shower or thunderstorm.  There will be a light breeze blowing out to L/CF.

Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh 705 PM

Partly cloudy, with temperatures in the low 80’s to start the game falling into the mid 70’s by the later innings.  Dew points will be in the low 60’s.  There is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm at the beginning of the game.  A light south breeze will blow in from RF towards the 3B dugout.

Washington @ Miami 710 PM

It’s been oppressive in Miami this summer.  Unofficially, July was the warmest month on record for the city.  The roof will be closed this evening.

Cleveland @ Boston 710 PM

There is a slight chance of a shower in Boston at the beginning of the game.  The game time temperature will be around 80, dropping to 73 by the end.  Dew points will be in the mid 60’s.  The wind will blow from the SSE at 5-10 MPH.  This blow from the RF pole across to the LF pole.

Los Angeles (NL) @ Atlanta 735 PM

Temperatures to start the game will be in the upper 80’s.  These will fall to the upper 70’s by 11 PM.  The dew points are only expected to be in the upper 50’s/low 60’s.  I’m sure Southerner’s are ecstatic to have weather like this on July 1.  It will be partly cloudy with little wind.

St. Louis @ Milwaukee 805 PM

Temperatures will be in the 70’s in Milwaukee this evening under mostly clear skies.  It will be humid with dew points in the mid 60’s. The wind will be 3-7 MPH out of the South which will blow in from R/CF across the 3B dugout.

Arizona @ Chicago (NL) 805 PM

Temperatures in the 70’s under mostly clear skies at Wrigley this evening.  The light Southerly wind will blow out to LF.  Humid, with dew points in the upper 60’s.

Seattle @ Texas 805 PM

Showers likely, but mainly after 11 PM.  Temperatures will be around 90 until the precipitation arrives in Arlington.  Dew points will be near 60 to start the game before increasing to the mid to upper 60’s by the end of it.  Winds will be out of the ENE around 5 MPH.  This will blow from the LF pole to the RF pole.

Tampa Bay @ Houston 810 PM

The roof will probably be closed in Houston thanks to temperatures in the upper 80’s and dew points in the low 70’s.  If it is open, the SE wind will blow out to LF.

Toronto @ Chicago (AL) 810 PM

Same weather as Wrigley but the ballpark orientation at Guarantee Rate Field will cause the wind to blow in from R/CF towards the 3B dugout.

New York (NL) @ Colorado 840 PM

A light shower is expected to move through the Denver metro around 830 PM.  It will be gone by 915.  Temperatures will be in the mid 70’s.  Wind swill blow from East across the diamond from 1B to 3B.

San Francisco @ Oakland 1005 PM

Clear, with temperatures in the low 70’s and mostly calm winds.

Philadelphia @ Los Angeles (AL) 1007 PM

Slight chance of a shower, otherwise mostly clear with temperatures in the 70’s.  A South wind of 4-8 MPH will blow out to LF.

Minnesota @ San Diego 1010 PM

The temperature will be around 70 with little to no wind in San Diego.  Humid, with dew points in the mid to upper 60’s.  There is a slight chance of thunderstorm.
